Marissa Guccione is a Southern California native; born and raised in Orange County. Both her father and grandfather worked in the home building industry for many years, so she grew up going to various jobsites, and walking through countless model homes. It was only a matter of time before she herself realized that her father and grandfather had one of the most important jobs, and she wanted in. She realized that they were giving people the places where kids would grow up, holidays would be hosted, and lifelong memories would be made. A passion was ignited that would take her all the way through school and into college. She attended her dream school, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and graduated in 2014 with honors. After graduation, she took a leap of faith and decided to open Bungalow 27, formerly Guccione Design Concepts.
Maverick Guccione is a rescue pup that does a lot behind the scenes here at Bungalow 27. He loves to nap on fabric and carpet samples, and sit on blueprints while his boss mom works on them. His favorite part of the design process is lunch time accompanied by many tortilla chips.
