Early decorator gets the pumpkins?
Hi everyone! We have been busy with a few projects and installations the past few weeks, but we thought we would take a moment and share with you where we are finding some killer deals on (drum roll please) Fall Decor!
We realize that its only the beginning of September, but we discovered that its actually been more cost efficient to get our decor now...and we are not arguing about it. So grab a cozy blanket, turn your AC way down (if your weather is anything like California's right now) and lets jump into fall decor 2016.
We found these amazing faux pumpkins at Michael's Craft Store. We are really loving the moody blue/grey pumpkins this year!
We paired the matte blue pumpkin with a metallic white pumpkin to add a touch of glam and warmth to our little house.
So this year we decided to ditch all of the super saturated colors of fall, and opt for the more muted palette that fall has to offer. We used a simple mason jar from the Target dollar section and added some yellow popcorn kernels to add a fun little pop of color. We also found dried wheat at our local Hobby Lobby and used that to fill some jars and vases around the house. It really added a natural vibe to our decor, and good news is that everything you see is super cheap! We also found these adorable pumpkin votive candles that we just mixed into our tablescape.
We found these awesome faux greens at Michael's as well. (Michael's was the jackpot this year) We paired it with a super cute copper vase to really make the grey/green blooms stand out. Again, we wanted to add some warmth through our metal tones, and it definitely rounds out all of our cool toned decor.
So we saw this at Michael's and HAD to have it. Who doesn't like an adorable, wooden pie box? We paired our box with some more of that gorgeous grey foliage that we placed throughout the house, a darling little orange pumpkin, and another metal jug.
We really wanted to combine different metals and keep a balance of cool and warm hues.
Our last little bit that we have to share with your guys (for now) is this super simple basket of metallic faux pumpkins. We used the pre-made bag of pumpkins from Michael's, and simply arranged them in a basket we got from Big Lots.
We also wanted to let you know that all of the products we showcased were under $20 each! Be sure to grab your coupons, and hit the shops early while sales are going on to really save a lot this season.
